A regular Tuesday

What the day looks like with Lazo open.

None of this costs you time you don't have. Same day, with things written down where they don't get lost.

  1. 1
    8:40Before you open

Filter the book to today. Six appointments, who's taking who, and the one who cancelled last night. You know how the day is shaped.

  2. 2
    9:30Sam arrives

Open her card: last time's formula, the PPD allergy, and that she sees Sofia. Nobody had to ask her all over again.

  3. 3
    1:00A gap

Chen didn't show. You mark it as a no-show and there it stays. Next time it happens, you won't be relying on remembering.

  4. 4
    6:00Closing up

Sofia leaves a note on Sam's card: half a shade lighter, and she loved it. Whoever takes her next already knows.

  5. 5
    ThursdayWithout you lifting a finger

Clients who haven't been in for eight weeks get a WhatsApp from you. Some reply. Some book.

The client card

What you know about each client, where the whole team can see it.

The formula, the allergies, who she sees, what she had last time and how it turned out. Out of your head and off the notes app on your phone.

You choose the fields: formula, allergies, hair type, regular stylist, birthday
Every visit links to the service and whoever did it, so the history builds itself
Before-and-after photos live on the card, not in somebody's camera roll
If someone changes a detail, it's logged — who, and when
Something deleted by mistake? It comes back out of the trash

The book

Your book, without the paper diary and without guessing.

Every appointment knows its service, how long it runs, what it costs, who's taking it and how it ended up. The rest is filtering.

Services carry their own duration and price, and hook onto every appointment
Each one has a status: booked, confirmed, done, cancelled, no-show
Save the views you open daily: "Today", "Sofia's week", "Unconfirmed"
The reminder goes out on its own before each appointment, so fewer chairs sit empty
No-shows get written down, not remembered — pull the list of who keeps doing it
So you don't find out on day one: appointments live in a table, not a week-view calendar with coloured blocks. What you get instead is filtering — today, one stylist, one service, every no-show this month — and saving those views to open in one click. The paper diary never did that.

Getting them back

Every month you lose clients without noticing.

They didn't complain and they didn't leave for the salon down the road. It just slipped. Lazo builds the list of who's due and messages them on WhatsApp, in your words and from your number.

Before the appointment

The reminder goes out on its own, with nobody having to remember to send it. Fewer no-shows, fewer gaps you discover at ten in the morning.

When they're overdue

Eight weeks since her last colour and the touch-up message sends itself. No list to maintain, no sticky note on the mirror.

To a whole list

A quiet Tuesday, a new treatment, a seasonal offer — pick who, and send it on WhatsApp or by email.

The list keeps itself current: book in, and you drop off it.
WhatsApp Business
Hi Sam, it's Sofia from the salon. It's been nearly eight weeks since your colour and I bet your roots are showing. Want me to hold you a spot this week?
Sends itself, on WhatsApp

One thing worth knowing up front: the WhatsApp messages go out through your own WhatsApp Business account, so you connect it once and from then on they send from your number. Email goes out from your own domain the same way.

Everything you can do

It isn't only the book.

Lazo is a database you shape yourself. This is what a salon usually ends up using.

Your clients

Cards with the fields you choose: text, numbers, dates, dropdowns, yes/no, files and links to other records
Tags to mark them: VIP, new, allergic, sensitive to scent
Team notes on every card, dated and signed
Change history: who touched what, and when
No duplicate clients — two cards can't share a phone number
A trash you can restore from, for when somebody deletes too much

Your book

Services with duration and price, linked to every appointment
Appointments connected to the client and to the stylist taking her
Statuses so you know how each one ended up, no-shows included
Saved views with the columns and filters you actually use
A default view, so everyone opens to the same place
One search box across everything you're allowed to see

Getting them back

Lists built from rules that keep themselves up to date
Or hand-picked lists, for a one-off promotion
Automated WhatsApp to a whole list
A reminder before every appointment
A touch-up message when they're overdue
Email templates that fill in from each client's own card

Your team

On Pro you invite the whole salon with no per-person charge (the free plan covers two)
Three levels: owner, admin and member
Permissions per table: who can view, add, edit or delete
Whatever you don't grant someone doesn't appear for them at all
Permissions are set on the invite itself
An assigned owner on every card and every appointment

Your data

Upload the spreadsheet you already have and match your columns
Export whenever you want — the data is yours, not held hostage
Start from the Appointments template, already built
Or from scratch, if you'd rather shape it yourself
If you have a website, the contact form can land straight in Lazo
And whoever looks after your site can wire it up in an afternoon
Not just hair

If you book appointments and want them coming back, it fits.

You set the fields and the services, so the same Lazo shapes itself around very different businesses.

Getting started

You could be using it this afternoon.

No setup fee, no consultant, no three-week implementation.

1
Pick the Appointments template
Services and Bookings come built, with duration, price and status. You add Clients and whatever fields you need.
2
Upload your client list
Whatever you have in Excel or Google Sheets. Match the columns and it's in, history and all.
3
Invite the team, connect WhatsApp
Everyone with what they're meant to see. Connect your WhatsApp Business once and the messages start going out on their own.
Before you ask

What salons ask us.

Do I have to change how I work today?

No. You start from the Appointments template and change whatever doesn't suit you: drop fields, add your own, rename them. If everything currently lives in a spreadsheet, upload it and carry on from there — nothing to re-type.

Is it a calendar like Google's?

No, and it's better said plainly: appointments live in a table, not a week view with coloured blocks. What you get instead is filtering — today, one stylist, one service, every no-show this month — and saving those views to open in one click.

What do I need to send the WhatsApp messages?

Your own WhatsApp Business account. You connect it once from Lazo and from then on messages go out from your number, under your name. It isn't a generic number and it isn't a chatbot.

Am I charged per stylist?

Not on Pro: pricing is per salon, not per person, so you add stylists, front desk and whoever manages without the bill moving. Watch the free plan though — it covers two users, you and one invite — so if there are more of you, that is exactly the reason to move up.

Can a stylist see every client's details?

That's up to you. Permissions are set per table and per person: you can let her read the cards but not delete them, or keep prices off her screen entirely. Whatever you don't grant simply isn't there for her.

And if I want to leave later?

You export the lot whenever you like. Your clients and your history are yours. Cancel Pro and the account drops back to the free plan with your data still there, all of it.

One price for the salon. Not per chair.
$250 MXN a month covers the whole team, or $2,500 a year. Try it for 30 days — and if it is not for you, the free plan stays yours for good.
